A Designer Look for Less Than $100

There is something about turtleneck tops that makes them very feminine. The best part is that you can either dress them up or down with the right accessories. I love the short-sleeve turtlenecks as they are a great piece for transitioning into fall. In addition, burgundy is a great color for the fall season. Luckily, the weather is still on the warm side in Vegas, so no capes and sweaters yet.

The highlight of this outfit as you can see is this cute vintage lady-like Ted Baker bag. I actually got it second-hand for only $40, and it is in a great condition. This was a true steal! Not to mention that I found these jeans on sale at H&M for only$10. All in all, this whole outfit including a designer bag, shoes and accessories (minus my watch) is less than $100!

Floral Print for Fall

Fall is slowly settling in in the desert. I decided to debut my new haircolor in this fun floral print dress I got last season from Parque in Green Valley Ranch, Las Vegas. Dark green and purples are must-haves for fall, especially paired with blush colors. The style of the dress is very feminine. That’s why I decided to wear it with these suede Donald Pliner lace-up pumps. In fact, they are currently on sale for more than 50% offย here. This is a cute outfit you can easily wear from a day at the office to a happy hour or a date night.

Playing With Texture & Color

Fall is officially here, but fall weather – not quite yet. These are some of the benefits of desert living.

As you can see I’m still in my summer outfits although I can’t wait to rock a pair of OTK boots. For now, I’m playing with texture, color and accessories (as usual). I’ve been looking for the perfect moto jacket since last year, and finally found this one at the end-of-summer Zara sale. The mustard color is great if you are looking to spice up a clean-cut or conservative outfit. Here I have style it with dark colors, so it stands out. This Forever 21 dress has pretty thin straps, but the texture makes it wearable during cooler seasons. I love pairing it with a long sweater or duster. To make the outfit complete, I added a neck scarf – and there you have the typical European look.๐Ÿ™‚

Eyewear Trends Coming to Vegas at International Vision Expo

Let’s talk eyewear fashion! Glasses are definitely that one accessory you should splurge on. Even if you don’t wear glasses on a daily basis like me, I’m sure you have a pair or even a few of sunnies you love. They can complete your daily look and give you that sass!

International Vision Expo is coming to Vegas to bring us the hottest trends in eyewear for Fall/Winter 2016 as well as a preview for Spring/Summer 2017.

Here’s what’s in for fall:

  • Classic pieces and simple frames in amber hues, steel grays, denim blues and soft khakis
  • Statement silhouettes with atypical color – flashy lenses, organic and futuristic shapes, glittery inlays and more
  • Romantic pieces with a modern edge – sparkly prints, shimmery gold finishes, glitzy gemstones and more
  • Bold colors, shapes and patterns – mirrored lenses in rainbow colors rom sassy reds to sour greens and anything in between

If you want to get your hands on these upcoming trends as well as Spring/Summer 2017 styles, stop by International Vision Expo September 15-17 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas. Make sure to check out my favorites – Etro x Marchon. I have always been obsessed with tortoise shell frames and love the shape of these frames.

Stepping Into Fall With No Nonsense

Labor Day marks the end of summer although we are still enjoying triple-digit temperatures here in the desert. It’s a great time to start prepping for fall and snag some items on sale this weekend.

I personally like versatile pieces I can wear now while it’s still warm, yet pair with the necessary accessories during cooler weather. This No Nonsense Soft Twill Skimmer legging is a perfect example. I love the bright color – easily wearable during summer, while it’s soft and comfy and great for fall too. No Nonsense has an awesome variety of tights and leggings, which are must-haves for fall. Better yet, they are offering 30% off everything this Labor Day Weekend. Did I mention free shipping too? So, you can go ahead and add the missing pieces to your closet.

For this outfit, I paired the legging with Vince Camuto wedges and an old plain shirt. Adding a piece of jewelry definitely makes the outfit dressier. For fall, I would style it with a pair of nice booties and a leather jacket. Again, the possible combinations are endless.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!
