Looking for the perfect cocktail dress? That is what I have been doing for the past couple of months with not much luck.

I am attending a traditional Bulgarian wedding in June where I will play the maid-of-honor’s role. Exciting? Yes, very much so! On the other hand, I feel nervous and under pressure because in Bulgarian weddings the best man and maid of honor can be as important as the groom and the bride. Why? Because most of the traditional rituals are carried out by the best man and maid of honor who are usually a married couple and potential “advisers” to the new family.

Needless to say, we all want to look good!

After many unsuccessful trips to the mall, I actually found the perfect dress online, although quite pricy and out of my range. Oscar de la Renta’s ruffled strapless dress looks stunning, and I am sure it will definitely turn heads at any special occasion or cocktail party.
