Chinese Flare And a Pop of Color

Hello world!

I know it’s been a while since my last blog post, but I hope you really enjoy this one.

If you follow my posts regularly, you have probably noticed that I’m all about the right accessories. Most of my outfits are really not that special, but it’s the styling that complements them. I got these Chinese earrings as a gift, and I think they make the perfect statement jewelry piece while adding a pop of color. I am also obsessed with shoes, especially heels! I scored this L.A.M.B. pair on Ebay a couple years ago for around $30. If you are a L.A.M.B. fan, you realize this is a total steal! I know they may look painful but I must say that these and another L.A.M.B. heels are the most comfortable ones I’ve ever worn. Now that doesn’t mean I would pay full price for them. šŸ™‚

Finally, this Mango chain leather bag is on sale here. The velvet slip-on dress is also on sale on Mango here.

What is the most important accessory in your closet that you love wearing over and over?

Dress: Mango; Turtleneck: H&M; Booties: L.A.M.B.; Clutch: Mango

Styling a Bomber Jacket

It’s only February and it’s already looking like spring in Las Vegas! I’m ready to celebrate warmer weather with thinner fabrics, brighter colors and better yet – floral prints.

To be honest I haven’t been a huge fan of the bomber jacket trend. It is quite bulky, which isn’t very flattering especially if you’re short like me. However, the silky fabric and floral embroidery of this jacket I recently found on Gilt got me! Not to mention the 40% extra I got on it, and that’s after sale. I couldn’t pass it up after all.

Silk looks great with velvet, so I hope to pair this jacket with velvet dresses or pants. For s more casual look, I would opt for a pair of white skinny jeans or a flared denim.

How do you like to wear a bomber jacket?

A Non-Traditional Holiday Look

New Years Eve aka the biggest party of the year is only a couple days away! We all want to look perfect and pick a beautiful yet unique outfit. You already know it will be all about sequins and glitter, but if you want something different and non-traditional, keep reading. The look I am featuring here is a bit edgy, but I promise you will definitely turn heads in this dress! Better yet, it won’t break the bank since you’ve already spent plenty on those Christmas gifts. Ā Did I mention this faux leather dress is under $50? Nasty Gal offers a leather version of it for about $200, also on sale. However, I guarantee that you will be just as happy with the one below. The material is very soft and the fit is perfect! I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it onĀ becauseĀ for thisĀ price I didn’t expect it to be half as perfect as it is. Oh, and please excuse my facial expressions as I had to shoot in freezing temps Vegas weather. šŸ˜‰
