Styling Mesh & Fur

Hello, Spring! 💐

I wanted to share this (hopefully) last winter outfit with of you before I transition into summer styles. It’s safe to say we are all looking forward to warm weather and boho chic trends. Not to mention, it’s already festival season as Coachella is only a few weeks away. Make sure you come back for some outfit ideas before you head to the desert.

In the meantime, I’m still kind of obsessed with the vintage look of this Agaci fur coat and Ted Baker patent satchel. What do you think?

Purple Hues

After nearly two months without posting, I’m making a comeback in one of my favorite finds from the Zara sale. My work travel and family summer adventures have kept me busy, but you can find all about it on my Instagram here.

If you are short like me, you know the struggle of finding a great fit, especially for jumpsuits. When I tried this romper on, I knew it was a winner. I loved the colors too, and I have been wearing it as a casual outfit most of all. Here, I decided to dress it up with a pair of caged heels and add a pop of purple.

The amethyst leather bracelet is handmade by Desert Daisy Jewelry, and you can find it here along with other unique crafted jewelry items including the hairsticks that I frequently wear. The tassel earrings I’m wearing below are also handmade. I found them in a boutique in Sydney, Australia during one of my latest trips.

I can’t wait to share more Australian finds with all of you, so stay tuned! ❤

Donald J Pliner Fall Collection Preview

Can we talk about fall trends? I know you would say summer is barely here, how can we focus on fall. I promise once you see what I mean, you will be saying fall can’t come soon enough!

This weekend I had the privilege to hang out at Donald J Pliner‘s boutique at The Forum Shops in Las Vegas and preview his fall shoe collection. From flats to heels, nudes to brights, there is a pair for every taste. Personally, I always go for the statement shoe – you can see my favorites from the new collection below. The colors scream fall yet the styles are so fun, especially the embellishments and fur accents.

Everything from the fall collection is available for pre-order only. If you can’t wait, there are plenty of summer styles to choose from. Better yet, take advantage of the 30% extra off of sales items. Don’t even get me started on the men’s styles – this deserves a post of its own.

And remember, “Life is too short to wear boring shoes.”
