Mother’s Day Wishlist

Here we go again; another holiday is just around the corner. We barely got over Easter, and everyone is getting ready for Mother’s Day.

Don’t get me wrong, I have never been a fan of the whole holiday euphoria created by restaurants and retailers. The idea of sitting in line for 30 to 40 minutes, only to have a meal is somehow not too appealing to me. Not to mention that the check will already be on the table by the time you have asked for another refill on your coffee. Yeah, mimosas are great (and I love champagne), but I love presents even more! =) So, here goes my Mother’s Day wishlist for this season. I hope you will find some of these items trendy and appealing!

Morroccan Oil A hair product definitely worth the attention. It not only strengthens, enhances and repairs your hair, but the great thing is that it is appropriate for any type of hair.

Very Irresistible by Givenchy And very affordable, too! This is one of my favorite fragrances of all times. The “summer cocktail” is a light fresh scent.

Marc Jacobs Handbag As a shoe-lover, I usually fall behind on handbags. This satchel comes in pretty much any color, and is to die for. If you want a designer bag, this is the one!

Michael Kors Wristwatch Another great accessory to add to your collection this season. Personally, I am not a gold person, but when I saw the rose gold bracelet watches, absolutely fell in love with the look!

MNG Sandals I can’t finish my wishlist without including a pair of shoes in the picture. These stilettos are absolutely gorgeous! Not to mention that they are suede.

Finally, I wish you a very happy Mother’s Day filled with laugh and joy! I would like to hear which item do you like most? What is on your wishlist for the holiday?

Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, everyone is looking for the perfect gift. Stores will offer expensive flowers and restaurants will be crowded with families celebrating the typical Mother’s Day fancy brunch.

Yes, gestures are important because we want to give this special person something memorable and impressive. Yet, we don’t realize that the most memorable gift is the mother-child bond. This year I will celebrate my first Mother’s Day, and I certainly don’t expect my ten-month old son to wake me up with flowers or take me to a nice meal! I never imagined that simple things such as his first smiles and giggles, his first steps and milestones will have such a strong impact on my day-to-day life. I still remember, once a good friend of mine told me “You have to become a mother to understand what it feels like! It is a feeling that can’t be described.” Now, I understand what she meant. Not only I relate to her, but I can also relate to my own mother. After many diapers, sleepless nights and loud play dates, I am excited to celebrate my first Mother’s Day!

What are you looking forward to? How will you celebrate your Mother’s Day?
