Forever 20 Bucks

Summer 2016 is all about tassels, fringe and pom poms – what’s not to love! This outfit is another example of how I style non-expensive items with higher end pieces. These Forever 21 jeans cost less than $18. I love the clean look, and the fringe is so on trend. For this outfit, I am dressing them up with nude pumps and accents such as these Baublebar tassel earrings and handmade colorful clutch from Gypsy 05.

On another note, I finally got the platinum blonde hair color I’ve wanted for so long. It took almost a year to go this light. I’m looking forward to adding some fun pastels into it next time. Special thanks to my talented stylist Amanda, @hairbypinkie.

Summer Chic

Summer is upon us! Dresses are always a great go-to option for a daytime or an evening outfit; however, I like to experiment a bit and get creative with my outfits. Here is a look I put together with mostly old pieces I’ve purchased during previous seasons. Again, just trying to show you that you don’t need to have everything from the latest Nordstrom collection. Luckily, the off-the-shoulder trend is still current, and so are the bermuda shorts. I purchased these at Zara a while back, but currently you can find plenty of them. Fabrics and prints vary, so there’s definitely an abundance of choice. The fit at Zara isn’t perfect, and I would advise you to try pieces on at the store.
