Purple Hues

After nearly two months without posting, I’m making a comeback in one of my favorite finds from the Zara sale. My work travel and family summer adventures have kept me busy, but you can find all about it on my Instagram here.

If you are short like me, you know the struggle of finding a great fit, especially for jumpsuits. When I tried this romper on, I knew it was a winner. I loved the colors too, and I have been wearing it as a casual outfit most of all. Here, I decided to dress it up with a pair of caged heels and add a pop of purple.

The amethyst leather bracelet is handmade by Desert Daisy Jewelry, and you can find it here along with other unique crafted jewelry items including the hairsticks that I frequently wear. The tassel earrings I’m wearing below are also handmade. I found them in a boutique in Sydney, Australia during one of my latest trips.

I can’t wait to share more Australian finds with all of you, so stay tuned! ❤

Folk Motives and Embroidery Trends

My husband made me do it! Yes, he not only takes pride in taking my photos, but he picked this shirt for me.

I already talked about embroidery trends here, but there is something different about this top. The folk element of the embroidery along with the A-line cut make it that one-of-a-kind piece you need in your closet. Brace yourselves with the Zara Winter Sale currently going on, you can score this shirt for less than $40 here. Styled simply with a pair of jeans or a legging, you don’t even need any special accessories. I love the pairing with these Steve Madden OTK boots (I got last year on Zappos.com), but a pair of clean stilettos will make the look even more elegant.

Happy Holidays! xoxo, ❤
