Authentic Alfama in Lisbon, Portugal

Hello from beautiful Lisbon, Portugal.ย ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น

If you’ve been following my recent European adventures on Instagram, this spot may look familiar. Alfama is the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon with narrow streets covered in cobblestone, graffiti walls and beautiful mosaics. This traditional side of Lisbon is a must-see and experience. As a solo traveler, I loved walking up to the top of Alfama and enjoying this beautiful view. Not to mention, every street has something unique to explore.

Alfama is definitely one of the top Instagrammable locations in Lisbon. It is a colorful district with lots of character and charm. Tram 28 is another major attraction in Alfama. Even if you don’t ride the tram, you can’t miss snapping a pic or two.

If you like to feel the vibe of the neighborhood, explore one of the cute little restaurants or enjoy a glass of wine admiring the sunset and this gorgeous view of Lisbon up top.

Accessories Are Everything…

Happy Friday, world!ย ๐Ÿธ

Surprisingly I’m home tonight working on the blog as I have been neglecting it for the last couple months. It’s nice to take a break from traveling and be home for the next few weeks. Although I can’t wait for my upcoming vacation to Europe. I will be seeking some outfit inspiration, so feel free to share with me your fabulous ideas and suggestions!

I’ve been wanting to wear this outfit for a while. Truth is that it’s just been way too hot in Vegas this summer. I fell in love with this plunging flare jumpsuit on Forever 21, but it’s not one of my most practical buys. The cleavage is a bit too open for my taste, so I decided to style it with a bralette from the VS summer sale. What I’m most excited about, is this belt bag I found at Topshop in London. Talk about shoppers’ heaven!

What are some looks you are obsessed with lately?

Styling Stripes in the Desert

There is something fascinating about the desert! ๐ŸŒตย I love shooting here, and even though I go to the same spot every time, I find something different. If you have plans to visit Las Vegas, you should definitely make time to explore Red Rock Canyon. There are so many insta moments to collect there, and the energy is amazing.

This time I decided to add a pop of color and style stripes on my 5-ft height figure. Say whaat! I love a lot of color, and more so I am not afraid to experiment with prints. You shouldn’t be either! Find the colors that work for you and start having fun! Whether its stripes, flowers, geometric figures or even polka dots, add it to your closet. You can thank me later.ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you need help, or have questions DM me on Instagram @eurochique. Until then… Au Revoirย ๐Ÿ’‹

Bohemian in Blue

Hello from colorful Sao Paulo.ย ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท

If you’re wondering whether I did research prior to picking my outfit, you’re right! Although the truth is that the photos don’t do this place any justice. Imagine walls covered in graffiti art with bursts of color and cobblestone streets meeting together in this urban and hipster neighborhood called Vila Madalena. It all started in so called Beco Do Batman (Batman Alley) back in the 80s. This place totally exceeded my expectations of what I thought colorful Brazil would look like.

I hope you enjoy the scenery and this matching boho chic outfit from American Eagle Outfitters. In the meantime, I’m going to look for more graffiti walls in Las Vegas…

Festival Essentials Part II

I wish I was sharing this outfit from Coachella. Instead, I found this cool brick wall at Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas. Quite a difference, but I’m still in the desert after all.ย ๐ŸŒต

I hope you find more inspiration for your summer outfits.

  • Festival pants are my go-to during the weekend. Whether it’s brunch or casual dinner, you can style them in so many ways.
  • Off the shoulder tops are here to stay! I’m sure you have several of those in your closets.
  • Can we talk accessories? This is another handmade necklace by @lisalehmandesigns that I’m obsessed with. A unique jewelry piece always helps me make my outfits stand out.

What is your inspiration when it comes to putting your outfits together?

Festival Essentials Part I

Festival season is officially here! Let’s bring on the boho trend back.

Here are some festival essentials you need this season:

  • Biker shorts or biker short romper like this one can be flattering when styled right. I hope the outfit below will inspire you.
  • Flower print duster or denim vest you ca wear over denim shorts or bodycon dress.
  • Fanny pack or belt bag is a must!
  • Funky sunglasses – look for geometric shapes, cat-eye or jeweled frames.
  • Shoes: I always opt for heels, but an espadrille would be a great option.
  • Accessories – this necklace was custom-made by Lisa Lehmann Designs. I love that I can layer it and wear it in so many different ways. Check out her Instagram here to find more unique pieces you can style during festival season.

My Take on Black Friday

Black Friday *need copy & image*ย ๐Ÿ˜‚ย If you navigate through Twitter, you probably know what I’m talking about.

The images are here, now let’s get to the copy.

I hope everyone enjoyed some quality family time on Thanksgiving. In case you decided to burn some calories after the big meal and hit the mall, that’s probably not a bad idea. If you hate crowds and prefer to do your shopping online, I’ve got you covered too. Here is a list of stores worth checking out this weekend:

  • Zara – 30% off entire collection. It may seem that Zara is all I wear, but I only hit the store twice a year during the sales. It’s a good time to stock up on basics and score some trendy items as well. Btw, the skirt I’m wearing below is from Zara.
  • Asos – 30% off entire site. Another go-to for me that makes my work outfits stand out.ย ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  • Boohoo – 60% off full price items
  • Ami Clubwear – 60% off everything. Check out the velvet sock booties I’m wearing below.
  • Steve Madden – 30% off plus free shipping

What I’m shopping for:

  • Sock booties
  • Mesh tops and dresses
  • Pieces with mixed textures and prints
  • Jewel embellished tops and pants
  • Velvet, suede and leather outfits

I’d love to hear from you and what are some pieces you’re looking for this fall and winter season.
