Authentic Alfama in Lisbon, Portugal

Hello from beautiful Lisbon, Portugal. 🇵🇹

If you’ve been following my recent European adventures on Instagram, this spot may look familiar. Alfama is the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon with narrow streets covered in cobblestone, graffiti walls and beautiful mosaics. This traditional side of Lisbon is a must-see and experience. As a solo traveler, I loved walking up to the top of Alfama and enjoying this beautiful view. Not to mention, every street has something unique to explore.

Alfama is definitely one of the top Instagrammable locations in Lisbon. It is a colorful district with lots of character and charm. Tram 28 is another major attraction in Alfama. Even if you don’t ride the tram, you can’t miss snapping a pic or two.

If you like to feel the vibe of the neighborhood, explore one of the cute little restaurants or enjoy a glass of wine admiring the sunset and this gorgeous view of Lisbon up top.

Winter in Vegas

Gotta love winter in Las Vegas – no coat, no hassle! We tend to get cooler temps every now and then during the winter months, but we are fortunate with a mild season for the most part. That is why instead of investing in a pricey winter coat, I rely on several cute ponchos and capes to get through the season.

I purchased this fringed poncho last year from Goodnight Macaroon, and it’s still available here for less than $50. I love the colors, and the fringe detail is all it takes to make your outfit stand out. Regardless of the poor reviews of the site, I had a good experience and was quite surprised with the nice quality. In fact, you can browse more cute sweaters here and use XMAS40 for an extra 40% off storewide until Dec. 23.

On another note, these Sam Edelman Over the knee boots are probably one of the most unique pairs of shoes I own – not so much because of the style but because of the color and texture. They are also a last-year buy from Zappos.com. The compliments I receive every time I wear them make the splurge worth it. 🙂

How do y0u like to style your OTK boots?

Holiday Ready

Going short just in time for the holidays! I haven’t rocked short hair in a few years, but now that I finally found an awesome hairstylist in Las Vegas (@hairbypinkie), I’m ready to experiment again. I’m excited to have an easier styling process at home and get my hair ready much faster than before.

On another note, I’ve been obsessed with these cute mirror sunglasses I found on FlashFrames. In fact, you can find similar styles here. FlashFrames will let you upload a photo of your dream glasses, and find you a similar frame just for a fraction of the price. You know I’m all about saving and finding a good deal on my outfits and accessories, so I couldn’t pass it up. You should definitely try it and see for yourself.

In the meantime, wishing you all a bright and joyful holiday season!

Xoxo ❤
